Joyland Kids Learning Center strives to meet the spiritual, emotional, social, cognitive, and physical needs of every child. Our mission is to have a safe and loving atmosphere in which a child can explore and discover the love of Jesus and grow in their education.
Our Philosophy
As a ministry of Old Cutler Presbyterian Church, The Joyland Kids Learning Center is responsible for providing a quality, Christian, caring, and educational weekday program for toddlers and preschoolers that is in keeping with the mission, vision, and values of the church.
Statement of Faith
The Joyland Kids Learning Center is a biblically based educational program. As a ministry of Old Cutler Presbyterian Church, our Statement of Faith reflects the beliefs of the church. These basic beliefs will be reflected in our curriculum in a manner that is appropriate for each age group, as well as in our communication with business partners.
Our Curriculum
Weekday Early Education (WEE) Learn, a division of Child Development Education Alliance (CDEA), is dedicated to educating and protecting children. WEE Learn Curriculum is a developmentally appropriate weekday curricula for Christian settings designed for young children ages birth through Pre-K. WEE Learn is grounded in evidence-based practices. Children’s individual differences and learning styles are considered, as they learn through play and interactions with supportive early childhood teachers to maximize each child’s learning potential. WEE Learn is a curriculum that supports best practice and has been cross-referenced with multiple State’s Performance Standards.
Green Apple Accredited
Green Apple Accreditation of Children's Services (GAACS), established in 2004, is a national, independent accrediting agency. Green Apple is a premier provider of accreditation for Child Care Centers/Early Learning Programs, After School Programs, Charter Schools, Private Schools, Substance Abuse Programs, and Residential Treatment Centers. Green Apple accredits programs in the United States, the Caribbean Islands, and around the world.
